Have a Dandelion Energy warranty? The company behind it is in liquidation, and its old legal name now belongs to another company.

The company behind Dandelion Energy is now in liquidation. Its current legal name is ACN 605 463 018 Pty Ltd. That company still holds the business names Dandelion Energy, Dandelion Energy Australia and Dandelion Australia.

Until 17 October 2025, the same company was legally called Geothermal Industries Australia Pty Ltd. One day after it stopped using that name, a different company adopted it.

The current Geothermal Industries website identifies ACN 690 631 979. That is a different company. For somebody with an installation, warranty or payment issue, the key question is which company actually owes the obligation. A newer company using an older company's former legal name does not automatically assume the older company's contracts, debts or warranties.

Two different ACNs. The older company kept the Dandelion business names and moved from administration into liquidation. A newer company adopted the Geothermal Industries Australia name the day after the older one stopped using it.

No phoenix activity, common directors, common shareholders, asset transfer, employee transfer, or assumption of warranties or contracts between the two companies.

Find the original quotation, installation contract, invoice, warranty and payment records. Record the ACN. Do not rely only on "Dandelion" or "Geothermal Industries" as a name.
