The register published 36 new distress entries. One company carried eighteen trading names.

The company is Leading Edge Group Limited, ACN 093 019 213. Its notice, dated 23 July and published on 27 July, placed six companies into voluntary administration at once, all incorporated in NSW, all with Henry McKenna appointed. The filing lists eighteen retail trading names: Dream Collection Jewellery, Leading Edge Appliances, Independent Booksellers, Photoedge, Bid-or-Buy and thirteen more. Every one of the eighteen belongs to Leading Edge Group Limited alone.

The rest of the attribution is just as specific. Rosman Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 098 520 515) carries two names of its own, Contrac IT and ContracIT Australia, and was formerly Merchandise Management Centre. Riverwise Pty. Limited (ACN 084 303 408) carries one. Leading Edge Computers Pty Limited, Leading Edge Technology Pty Limited and Troy AU Pty Ltd carry none from the notice, though the first two were themselves renamed along the way.

The filing attributes those names by placement: each set sits beneath its own company and ACN, and that placement is the whole of the information. It is exactly what gets lost when a multi-company notice is flattened into a list. Load this one flat and eighteen shopfront identities spread across six ACNs, five of which never carried them. For a risk or legal-operations team, that difference decides which customer files get pulled.

The working consequence is narrow and testable. A ledger entry under "Leading Edge Appliances", or any of the other seventeen names, should be tested against Leading Edge Group Limited, ACN 093 019 213, and against nothing else in the filing. The association identifies the entity to investigate; the contract or invoice determines whether anything is owed.

ASIC records that these six companies were named in one filing and share an administrator. It records no corporate relationship between them, and none is asserted here. The filing supplied six of the day's 36 newly published distress entries; the other thirty follow below.

The register in 60 seconds

ASIC published 126 notices covering 127 entities. Three notices named more than one company, expanding the source material to 133 company rows. 36 are newly published distress entries: a company entering an insolvent process, disclosed in the day's publication run. The remaining 91 are:

  • 37 winding-up applications, which ask a court for an order and are not findings of insolvency

  • 26 companies already inside a process that moved stage

  • 18 procedural filings on cases already open

  • 10 members' voluntary liquidations, which are solvent processes

  • 0 practitioner replacements, against a 21 per cent month median

Sixteen of the 36 carry an appointment or resolution date of 27 July itself; the rest were dated earlier, by a median of two days and at longest six. Every date against a company in this issue is the notice date. A flat count would report 127 entities; the register supports 36.

Also on the tape

The monitoring job: Tahmoor Coal made its eighth register appearance in 167 days. The latest Tahmoor Coal Pty Ltd (ACN 076 663 968) filing, published 27 July, is a meeting notice in an existing matter, not a new distress entry. The sequence opened with a voluntary administration published 10 February 2026, meetings published 12 and 23 February followed, and no single day's register shows more than a fraction of it. A system keeping only the newest row loses the process that produced it. Two live dates sit in this issue: proofs of debt due 30 July and a virtual meeting on 31 July. Source

The channel job: Dicker Data filed against the company behind SAU Digital. The ASX-listed technology distributor commenced a winding-up application against DONFAM Investments Pty Ltd, ACN 158 005 102, on 2 July, with a Supreme Court hearing set for 4 August. The ABR associates DONFAM with SAU Digital Australia and H-Serve International. SAU Digital described itself as an IT and communications provider; Dicker supplies the IT reseller channel. A supplier relationship is plausible, not proven, and the notice gives neither the transaction nor the amount claimed. Test either operating name against DONFAM's ACN. Winding-up applications published

Important: These are winding-up applications, not findings that the companies are insolvent or have been wound up. Hearing details are those listed in the notices and may change or may already have passed. Check the current court list and company status before acting.

Hearing dates and obligations, including any that had passed by publication, are recorded as part of the historical register, not presented as current deadline advice.

An application asks a court to order a winding up. The application itself is not a liquidation appointment or finding.

What changed

These matters already appeared in an earlier issue or carried an earlier process on the register. The dates below are publication dates; the underlying events are earlier still.

Receivership priors are register records, not published notices, which is why a notice-only view undercounts what was already under way.

Bottom line

The 27 July register resolves to two attribution jobs and one chronology. Test Dream Collection Jewellery, Leading Edge Appliances, Independent Booksellers, Photoedge, Bid-or-Buy and the other thirteen names against Leading Edge Group Limited, ACN 093 019 213, keeping Rosman Australia's two names and Riverwise's one beneath their own ACNs. Test SAU Digital Australia and H-Serve International against DONFAM Investments Pty Ltd, ACN 158 005 102. File the Tahmoor Coal meeting into its chronology rather than over it. The names identify accounts to check. Neither the identity links nor the winding-up application establish that anything is owed.
