Forth Construction Group Pty Ltd (ACN 619 911 376), an Adelaide builder, went into creditors' voluntary liquidation on 16 October 2026. That means its shareholders voted to wind the company up and handed control of it to a liquidator, Dominic Cantone of BRI Ferrier, Adelaide. ASIC appointment notice
A second registered company now carries almost the same name.
The Australian Business Register shows that Forth Construction Group (WA) Pty Ltd (ACN 653 734 715) was called U Construct Pty Ltd until 18 September 2025, when it was renamed. Its main business location has been postcode SA 5061 since it registered in 2021. The company in liquidation has the same postcode.
The (WA) company is separate. It is not named on the liquidation notice, and it remains registered. The register does not show who owns or runs either company, or why either name changed.
So for subcontractors, suppliers, principals and bond issuers on Forth jobs, the company number on the paperwork decides where a claim sits. Only ACN 619 911 376 is in liquidation.

The website ties the project list to the company in liquidation
Forth’s current website does identify the legal company behind it. Its contact page prints ABN 75 619 911 376, the number belonging to Forth Construction Group Pty Ltd, ACN 619 911 376—the company now in liquidation. Forth contact page
The site says the business delivered commercial, residential, industrial and modular projects worth up to $5 million. Its project list includes an Adelaide Airport office refurbishment, remote-community work and off-site accommodation manufacturing. One page still labels Colley Terrace, an eight-storey apartment building on the Glenelg foreshore, as “in progress.” That is the company’s own undated project status; it does not establish whether work remained under way when the liquidator was appointed or whether the company in liquidation held the relevant contract. Forth website
The operating footprint extended beyond South Australia. The site says the business expanded into Western Australia. WA’s public builders register lists “Forth Construction Group Pty Ltd” at the Unley address under contractor registration BC104327, but does not print an ACN. In February 2025, Northern Territory planning minutes also recorded Forth project manager Scott Berwick attending a hearing about converting a Palmerston building to light-industrial use for Northpharm. Neither record establishes that a current project is affected by the liquidation.
They do establish the missing commercial stake: this was a builder presenting an interstate project and licence footprint, not just a company name on an appointment notice. Anyone connected to one of those projects still has to identify the contracting company from the ACN on the contract.
The Forth name also appears on a builder licence in the Northern Territory. That record carries no company number.

Every Friday, The Open Register resolves the companies behind familiar names and connects distress filings to the public records that show what changed and who it affects.

A Northern Territory builder licence with no company number
The NT Building Practitioners Board's register shows one active builder registration in the Forth name. It is 394501ZU, a commercial builder licence (Building Contractor Commercial, Unrestricted), running from 2 June 2025 to 2 June 2027.
The page was last updated on 16 October 2026, the day of the liquidation, and still showed the licence as active. Active means the registration is current. It does not show that any work is under way.
The entry is in the name Forth Construction Group Pty Ltd, with a post office box in Unley, SA 5061. It prints no ACN or ABN. The name matches the company in liquidation exactly. When the licence began, the (WA) company was still called U Construct Pty Ltd. The entry does not say which company holds it.
So the licence, like the paperwork, comes down to a company number.
What to check on a Forth job
Match the ACN on your retentions, bonds, warranties and PPSR registrations to the company profiles above. For ACN 619 911 376, the contact is now the liquidator named on the notice.
Before 24 September 2022 that company was called SA Construction Company Pty Ltd. Match older paperwork by ACN, not by name.
If your contract relies on the NT licence, ask the NT Building Practitioners Board which company holds 394501ZU.

What remains unresolved
The notice gives no reason for the liquidation, no creditor totals and no information about unfinished work. It sets no creditors' meeting and no deadline for claims. Those answers will come from the liquidator, not from the notice.
The NT licence runs to 2 June 2027 on its current registration.
One ASIC notice named one company. Set beside the business register, the company’s own project pages and the NT and WA builder records, the Forth name leads to a second registered company, an interstate project footprint and licences that do not publish a company number. The records answer different questions; the ACN on the contract decides which company a creditor actually dealt with.
